ABOUT THE PLAYERS
The Piddle Valley Players is a friendly and vibrant community group with a passion for bringing musicals to life. Since our founding, we’ve been entertaining the Piddle Valley community with lively, quality productions that celebrate the magic of theater. Whether you’re a seasoned performer or completely new to the stage, everyone is welcome to join our society and share in the fun!
We rehearse on Thursday evenings at 7:00 pm, with additional Sunday afternoon rehearsals from September to February, at Buckland Newton Village Hall. It’s a time filled with laughter, creativity, and teamwork as we prepare for our annual musical production.
Our recent shows include beloved classics like Me and My Girl, The Pajama Game, and Anything Goes. Each year, we take pride in creating dazzling performances, complete with toe-tapping musical numbers, stunning costumes, and heartfelt storytelling that delights our audiences.
Beyond the stage, we’re more than just a theater group—we’re a supportive community of friends who share a love of drama and music. From acting and singing to set design, costumes, lighting, and more, there are endless ways to get involved, both on and off the stage.
